James McAvoy Reportedly Attached to Star as Ian Fleming in Film Biography

The Telegraph is reporting that James McAvoy ( Atonement , The Last Station ) is attached to star in the film adaptation of Andrew Lycett’s biography Ian Fleming: The Man Behind James Bond . Palmstar Entertainment is expected to begin production based on Matt Brown’s script later this year. Lycett has also authored several other biographies, including his 2007 portrait of The Man Who Created Sherlock Holmes: The Life and Times of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle .
